Sharif El-Gamal is the Chairman and CEO of Soho Properties, a Manhattan-based real estate company which he founded in 2003. With his extensive experience in all aspects of the development process from financing, acquisition, structuring complex joint ventures, and a 15-year career of investing in New York City real estate, he has successfully led the repositioning of over 20 Manhattan buildings containing in excess of 2 million square feet. Since founding Soho Properties, Sharif has executed over $1 billion in real estate transactions in Manhattan. A charismatic and sought-after public speaker, Sharif has appeared in national and international media and has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and the Associated Press. Sharif is a Founding Board Member and a Trustee of Park 51, a Board Member of Stella Adler Studio acting school, and is involved in numerous non-profit organizations and charitable foundations.

Sylvie Mutwambaka Mirindi is the Founder of Mamans Sensibilisateurs, a committee made up of women who, like Sylvie, are married to members of the Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo (FARDC). These women both witness and face violence in their homes and community. Among other programs, Sylvie and the Mamans Sensibilisateurs launched programs that have dramatically reduced violence in their homes and communities, as well as a co-counseling system for married couples to discuss their problems constructively without violence.

At just 22 years old, Fatima Ezzahra Benoughazi is already a leading voice in youth organization and participation in peacebuilding in Morocco. A member of Search’s Youth Leaders Council of Tangier, Fatima has been involved in various Search initiatives that are working to prevent and counter violent extremism in Morocco. She also builds projects and online campaigns that bring religious leaders and at-risk youth together to counter violent extremism online and develop constructive conflict resolution skills.

Arno Michaelis, a former skinhead, reached out to Pardeep after the shooting and since then the pair have formed an unlikely alliance teaming up to preach a message of peace, through their organization Serve 2 Unite.
