Imrana Alhaji Buba is the Founder of Youth Coalition Against Terrorism (YOCAT), a youth organisation that aims to unite young people against violent extremism in Nigeria. He is a Young Expert in the Peace and Security Cluster of the AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub, Youth Advisory Council chair of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) and the Global Youth Advisory member of the USAID-funded Youth Excel Project. He has worked for organisations like USAID, Creative Associates International, ODI, International Alert, and Mercy Corps in the area of youth engagement, post conflict recovery and conflict sensitivity.
